Workit Health partners with health plans, employers, and managed Medicaid organizations to implement evidence-based addiction treatment delivered through their mobile-first telemedicine platform. Workit provides telemedicine triage and steerage for members seeking help, routing them to appropriate care settings. Both by providing treatment and steerage, Workit Health helps clients realize material financial gains, as well as improved clinical outcomes.
We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Growth. In this role, you will champion Workit Health’s investments that are essential to our productivity and growth and will be responsible for developing and overseeing a smooth, effective process to enable the growth of Workit Health specifically within national health plans and Medicaid markets.
Core Responsibilities
You’ll be involved in every aspect of our commercial process: sourcing & developing leads, driving customers to close, and managing relationships with our current and prospective customers. You have a unique opportunity to shape Workit Health’s growth across the health plan market through outreach, targeting, and building value.
- Drive national sales efforts with health plans and Medicaid markets as an individual contributor.
- Manage multiple concurrent negotiation activities and project management skills to drive progress on specific market strategies.
- Support onboarding of new payer customers across health plans, and Medicaid.
- Create and maintain relationships between operations and payers related to contract performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations to monitor portfolio performance, yield, payer mix, etc.
- Lead onsite visits with payers and clients.
- Attend industry conferences in order to connect with payers and other potential clients.
- Work closely with the business development team encompassing business development representatives, grant writers, and account success professionals.
- Monthly or bi-monthly travel will be required.
- Attract, train, and retain a diverse team.
Professional Qualifications
- A hunter mentality with relevant healthcare and payer relations experience to build our health plan and Managed Medicaid pipelines.
- Proven track record of strong revenue growth in digital health and technology
- industry, specific telehealth start-up experience is preferred.
- Experience negotiating contracts with health plans and Managed Medicaid organizations.
- Proven track record of sales success, hitting or exceeding goals.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Must have prioritizing, time management, detail-oriented and organizational skills.
- High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.
- A deep passion for improving health outcomes.
- Strong team player who can make decisions and excels in a fast-paced, ever-changing collaborative environment.
- An outside-of-the-box thinker who can develop new and unique sales tactics to get results quickly.
