Why it matters: Our Senior QA Automation Engineer will play an integral role in driving the vision for Axios HQ as a standalone SaaS company and provide quality assurance by means of both testing and troubleshooting to the development team.

Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios HQ through the following responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, scripts and tools
  • Develop and execute automated test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams to identify and isolate defects
  • Provide detailed defect reports to development teams to facilitate defect resolution
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software products
  • Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide support and training to other team members on automated testing frameworks and tools

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
  • Experience in developing and executing automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, XCUITest, Pyppeteer, Cypress testing, Unit testing
  • Good understanding of software testing best practices and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. Base salary for this role is in the range of $135,000-$150,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills.
