Why it matters: Our Senior QA Automation Engineer will play an integral role in driving the vision for Axios HQ as a standalone SaaS company and provide quality assurance by means of both testing and troubleshooting to the development team.
Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios HQ through the following responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, scripts and tools
- Develop and execute automated test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to identify and isolate defects
- Provide detailed defect reports to development teams to facilitate defect resolution
- Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software products
- Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide support and training to other team members on automated testing frameworks and tools
The details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Axios HQ’s mission and values - raise the bar, stay curious, be inclusive, always, and champion each other - and have the following skills/experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
- Experience in developing and executing automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, XCUITest, Pyppeteer, Cypress testing, Unit testing
- Good understanding of software testing best practices and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Don’t forget:
- Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. Base salary for this role is in the range of $135,000-$150,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills.
