The Role:
RIVET is looking for a high energy Sales Development Representative, to help expand a rapidly growing construction software business. This role is key to our growth as we expand our contractor community nationwide. As an early team member and individual contributor, you will develop an understanding of the construction industry and RIVET’s platform to help improve one of the world’s largest industries. This position will report to RIVET’s Sales Director. We’re looking for someone eager to learn and join us immediately.

You will:
- Develop and maintain understanding of the RIVET application
- Relentlessly pursue new business opportunities to fuel Rivet’s growth
- Partner with an Account Executive to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month
- Engage construction professionals through phone, email, events and other channels to understand their challenges and identify opportunities that can solve them
- Work with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to create opportunities for new business
- Conduct daily activities include pre-call research and planning, high volume outreach, follow-ups with previous contacts (nurturing leads), maintain CRM (Hubspot) records
- Attend industry events to network, prospect, build relationships and expand Rivet’s presence in the market
- Warmly transition new customers to RIVET’s incredible Customer Success team for onboarding, training and account management
Nice to have:
- 1+ years in SaaS sales
- Startup or entrepreneurship experience
- Construction industry experience
