Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, you will be responsible for supporting our People processes, programs, and policies. You will operate across Rheaply including benefits, employee sentiment, employee relationships, HR, and more. We're looking for a 10Xer and go-getter! The ideal candidate should be comfortable with coming into Rheaply hitting the ground running.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operations
- Improve our onboarding, off-boarding & other employee lifecycle processes in a way that uses self-service, automation, and technology in collaboration with our HRIS (Rippling).
- Assist team members and team leads with basic interpretation of people policies per our employee handbook.
- Lead management of employee perks (such as benefits and holidays), including coordinating with 3rd party providers.
- Assist in overseeing people data reporting and use people analytics to identify opportunities for people process improvements.
- Support with processing payroll, including correspondences with tax-related institutions and government agencies.
- Engagement and Retention
- Plan and execute events of different sizes and purposes across the organization.
- Create and source training programs that increase leadership, collaboration and communication across all levels within our organization.
- Ensure that people practices are established and function with a diversity, equity and inclusion lens while serving business priorities.
- Support all team leads with structuring of 1:1s, actioning feedback that is received through employee surveys and conflict resolution across the organization.
- Growth
- Think strategically, recommending new approaches, policies, procedures and initiatives for the HR department to support the mission of the organization.
- Proactively evaluate current benefits and recommend new approaches for employee benefits and new goals to retain employees.
- Develop and maintain accurate information management and filing systems to ensure compliance with records retention policies as Rheaply scales.
- Ensure compliance with all federal/state/local employment laws and regulations.
- Support with ad hoc projects such Learning Management Systems,Key Management Systems, training programs, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in HR Operations/People
- Understanding of HR/People processes including but not limited to onboarding requirements, maternity/paternity policies, and benefits management
- Ability to change focus areas quickly, and move with pace of change
- Experience developing and implementing operational systems, processes, and capabilities to support successful scaling in a high-growth global organization.
- Experience with handling complex payroll processes (systems, regulatory requirements, etc.) to support a remote workplace.
- Proven success in managing a workforce of over 50 people to grow at scale including conflict resolution, professional development plans, and performance management.
