Guideline is looking for an Operations Associate to join the Customer Operations team.

We are seeking an Operations Associate to join our team. You are a collaborative individual who is excited to help Guideline make affordable retirement benefits accessible to American workers, and would love to grow in an exciting space with a tight-knit, collaborative team. You will directly contribute to the best-in-class client experience, and you will report to the Onboarding Manager.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Increase company efficiency by helping complete core operational transactions, specifically within client onboarding
  • Operationally support clients converting retirement plans to Guideline by collaborating with the Onboarding, Customer Success, Engineering and Compliance teams to ensure a smooth transfer and allocating participant assets
  • Accurately record 401(k) plan and participant data while reconciling any discrepancies
  • Lead cross-functional company project(s) on behalf of Customer Operations, such as scaling existing operational processes, building analytics reporting
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal clients in using Guideline's core platform and processes
  • Presents ideas and recommendations, continuously look for ways to improve processes
  • Other duties as assigned

We are a high-energy group and work closely with Onboarding, Retirement Consulting, Customer Success, Government Filings and Product.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years experience in a finance, operations, or account management role
  • Process oriented: experience with documentation and an eye for details
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize among multiple tasks
  • Comfort level with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc) with an interest in data manipulation, SQL experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills: comfort level talking to different teams and levels
  • Passionate about technology
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Exposure to 401(k), retirement, or finance industry
