Overview:

This is the first hire of our marketing team and requires a jack-of-all-trades candidate willing to both think big and roll up their sleeves to deliver and execute. On a day-to-day basis, you lead the development of our marketing initiatives to drive the growth of the business and brand. This role requires excellent written and oral communication, strong hands-on execution and project management, and attention to detail while under deadline. An ideal candidate is resourceful, motivated to generate demand from the Cybersecurity and Chief People Officer communities and the pull-through with consumers. You can create marketing strategies that resonate with both consumer end-users and corporate decision makers. The right candidate loves learning, writing, and communicating in all forms. Finally, you obsess over marketing performance, reporting, and analytics -- the success of the role is governed by scorecards, KPIs, and deliverables. You also enjoy working as part of a self-motivated, remote team, managing your priorities and time well.

Responsibilities:

  • Build out a communication plan including a calendar and execute against it.
  • Create, take ownership of and continuously improve the marketing lead generation ecosystem
  • Create a scorecard for marketing metrics, monitor results, pivot when necessary
  • Support the product team through marketing communications and in app content
  • Write, storyboard and manage content creation whether that be text, video, podcast, etc. (in house or outsourced).
  • Manage social media accounts and website content ensuring we “create, engage with and lead the conversation around digital privacy”.
  • Identify and work with influencers in the category. 
  • Identify, tag and create a content library
  • Manage creative agencies and hold accountable to annual KPIs

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Wordpress, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Hootsuite and other martech tools
  • Demonstrated copywriting, content development, and creative writing experience.
  • Has an interest in digital privacy
  • Social media marketing, monitoring and listening
  • Inbound marketing methodology
