Tonic is looking for a Manager of Sales Development to lead and scale our team of talented Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). Tonic is growing fast, and you’ll play a key role in enabling and accelerating our growth. If you are an experienced Manager of Sales Development who enjoys scaling teams, keep reading! 

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver ongoing training on sales prospecting, email outreach, and calling
  • Hire and onboard new SDRs
  • Define performance metrics by which SDRs will be measured (e.g., call/email activity, response rates, accounts generated, account quality, lead-to-close)
  • Monitor activities, such as call and email volume, plus key performance metrics linked to lead qualification
  • Coach and mentor individual SDRs through 1-1 meetings, call-shadowing, and other methods
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to build compelling and relevant pitches to drive activity across the SDR team

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role (preferably part of that time in an SDR/BDR role) 
  • 2+ years of experience managing a sales development team
  • Experience selling a B2B software product
  • Strong communicator, proficient in communication to individual sales team members
