We are looking for a skilled Director of Marketing to play a foundational role on our team, building and executing marketing programs and strategic initiatives from the ground up, with a strong focus on digital marketing.

In this role you will partner closely with our Business Development and Sales Teams. Through customer data, research, and analysis, you’ll develop a deep knowledge of how companies and people adopt our software, and in turn, advise on and own programs to improve and accelerate this adoption. A successful candidate will be customer-focused, analytical and excited about the opportunity to help more individuals and organizations adopt technology.

This high-impact role will have considerable influence on our company’s success and features significant room for personal growth and career development. You will wear many hats, and this is a role that requires hard and soft skills to be successful.

Salary Range:  $90,000-$110,000

About Us

Our team, headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI, is dedicated to our core value of “honest work” where our customers, our company, and our community win together. Delivering beyond expectations and an open posture toward growth enables our company and team to excel, while our social outings, team lunches, and a culture of fun and collaboration help us to bring our best selves to the challenges ahead.

With a full range of benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Pet) plus additional perks to boot (401k with company match, hybrid work schedules, a Professional Development Budget, Volunteer Time Off, and much more!) we think you’ll love being a part of our team.

You may be a good fit for this role if:

  • Creativity in your job is a must-have and the intersections of graphics, written word, digital and in-person marketing spins the wheels in your imagination
  • You’re a bit intense about details - no mispelling goes unoticed and you have an opinion about whether there should be one space or two spaces between sentences (People Ops strongly feels that ‘2’ is the correct answer but that team is a little strange)
  • Experience with marketing automation and email marketing platforms like Pardot

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy of all out-of-product touch points and implement multi-channel campaigns with a focus on digital strategy
  • Own day-to-day coordination of marketing email campaigns (e.g. planning, building, scheduling, execution)
  • Manage and oversee multiple digital marketing channels, including paid-social media and online review sites (e.g. Google AdWords, Capterra, G2)
  • Oversee all the company's social media strategy and execution
  • Understand and articulate buyers' journey in the context of campaigns
  • Prepare and manage marketing budget
  • Lead and continue to build a hardworking and diverse team of marketers
  • Create and actively monitor campaign analytics, report on campaign performance, and track and monitor conversions
  • Assist and participate in conference/trade-show selections, sponsorship, presentations
  • Partner with Business Development and Sales to create programs that identify and nurture high-potential leads and prospects
  • Develop a deep understanding of current and future customer segments and identify key growth initiatives to increase our customer base and their lifetime value
  • Utilize project management skills and experience in planning, development, and forecasting

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of people management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of running B2B enterprise digital marketing programs (paid search, display, paid social, content syndication, web, email) to drive conversions and sales pipeline
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Skilled with time management; possessing the ability to manage multiple competing projects at various levels of scale
  • Analytical mentality and a data-informed approach
  • A customer-first approach with a passion for storytelling
  • Embrace working with fun, quirky, enthusiastic people
  • Love the rapid, unpredictable nature of a fast growing tech company

Excited? We can’t wait to hear from you!

If you like what you've seen so far, we feel compelled to boast that:

  • We're 6x recipients of SPARK’s FastTrack Award
  • We have an office dog named Munki. He is soft and little.
  • Our office pantry is stocked with delicious snacks.
  • We made our Director a Paper Plate Award that says "You're pretty cool" and it has frog stickers on it. Sorry, there's not a picture.

So throw your hat in the ring - we'd love to meet you!
