The Signal Finance team is looking for a a Director of Finance to help play an integral role in building and overseeing Signal’s advisor commission management platform, “TruePay”. You will be asked to own key strategic and operational initiatives across a wide range of finance and accounting related functions and offerings. In addition to managing and ensuring operational success of the TruePay, finance, and accounting functions, you will actively work with the product development team to automate core operational activities and improve the TruePay platform.


Oversee daily finance operations including Signal’s TruePay offering and corporate finance and accounting functions

Partner with Signal’s Product Team to improve and optimize Signal’s advisor commissions platform

Take ownership of preparing financial reports, such as periodic cash flow reports, lender requests, and monthly KPIs

Lead the team in developing, documenting, and implementing accounting policies & procedures as needed

Support the VP of Finance & Operations in compliance efforts including state registrations, annual reports, and tax filings

At least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, finance, FP&A, or similar field

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.), or 8+ years of relevant work experience

Knowledge in the field of developing and operationalizing payment or lending solutions

Strong grasp of financial concepts and financial systems

Comfortable working in a high-growth, venture backed environment

Technologically proficient; experience with Excel required, experience with other accounting/finance platforms is a plus
