Our team is seeking a phenomenal, full-time Digital Marketing Manager (DMM). The DMM must be a self-motivated leader and community-builder who won’t hesitate to jump in and work on projects in support of regional startups and founders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies across multiple platforms: social media, podcasts, video and email campaigns
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report results along with optimization recommendations for improved performance
  • Manage the marketing budget
  • Liaise with ID Partners and startups on content creation and joint-marketing efforts
  • Generate performance reports and dashboards for digital campaigns
  • Write feature video messaging and vlogs in line with thought leadership and mission
  • Ensure PPC campaigns adhere to best practices & troubleshoot any problems; analyze Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
  • Evaluate emerging digital media channels, vendors, tools, technology and tactics to enhance the ID brand and drive business goals


Experience

Applicant has experience effectively:

  • Adhering to strict deadlines
  • Implementing Search Engine Marketing strategies including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
  • Utilizing Google Analytics, Hotjar, Facebook Analytics and/or other data analytics software
  • Enhancing marketing efforts through campaign management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Later, Campaign Monitor)
  • Leveraging video and/or audio content platforms (e.g. Spotify, SoundCloud, Clubhouse, Youtube, IGTV)
  • Developing results-driven content for diverse demographics across multiple platforms
  • Using MS Office software – particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

Applicant possesses experience in some of these skills:

  • Supervised or managed a team of marketing and graphic design professionals
  • Overseen the design and production of print materials and publications
  • Worked with multiple forms of written content: feature stories, profiles, blogs, news articles, white papers, social media campaigns, etc.
  • Used design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
  • A basic understanding of HTML

  • Analytical and creative, able to define objectives, formulate logical conclusions and develop solutions
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
  • Flexible, versatile learner; open to changing priorities and managing tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes

Work Environment

Innovation DuPage has a fast-paced, friendly work environment with a collaborative team.

Employees are currently working in a hybrid format including a combination of in-person and at-home work. Once safe, employees will eventually be required to work from the office. All the seats in our office are socially distanced, internal traffic patterns are laid out to avoid close contact, health check protocols are rigorously followed, daily temperature checks are taken for all and everyone is required to wear a mask. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are also readily available.
