Our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are the ultimate champions of our CampDoc and SchoolDoc products, and they’re masters at spreading the news about our software far and wide. In this position, you’ll serve as our expert of outbound lead generation through identifying and expanding new markets, building brand awareness, and coordinating product demonstrations for organizations including Colleges & Universities, Parks and Recreation Departments, YMCAs, K-12 Schools, and more.

As the first point of contact for many future customers, we’re looking for a tenacious go-getter who’s bubbling with enthusiasm every time they introduce a new organization to our products. The ideal candidate can easily break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms, is excited to tailor their sales approach to the unique needs of each market, and looks forward to finding new and inventive ways to help us grow our customer portfolio.

  • Target, educate, and qualify prospects to create sales-ready leads and meetings
  • Interact with prospects via outbound telephone and email communication
  • Research opportunities, identify internal key players, and generate interest within the industry
  • Partner with the marketing team to generate outbound lead campaigns to reach new prospects 
  • Consistently achieve qualified lead quotas
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the team

Required Skills and Experience

  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Adept in planning, development, note-taking, and time management
  • Strong problem identification and persuasion skills
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in addition to active-listening skills
  • Ability to build rapport with prospects and team members in a professional manner
  • Embrace working with fun, quirky, enthusiastic people
  • Love the rapid, unpredictable nature of a fast-growing tech company
