Where You Come In

At Floyd, we’re building a furniture brand with depth and meaning and communicating this by creating great content & storytelling. The Brand Content Manager works closely with Creative and Marketing to curate & produce branded content related to evergreen products, new product launches, the Lived In blog & Stay Floyd. Your ultimate objective is to seek out and produce amazing content that supports Floyd’s mission & core values. These stories & subjects showcase our products in use, giving new ways to amplify our assortment to our customers.


You are a hands-on, creative problem-solver with an out-of-the-box approach to the creative process. You have an excellent design aesthetic as it relates to home & interiors and the ability to bring forth new subjects & original ideas. You are passionate about producing high-quality, elevated content that articulates a lifestyle though inspirational & aspirational imagery/video. You will report to the Senior Creative Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Key contributor to curating Floyd’s brand content & subject matter pertaining to evergreen storytelling, new product launches, Lived In & Stay Floyd
  • Authentically represent the brand taking a conscious approach to showcasing products, delivering on our mission & telling stories in equitable spaces
  • Coordinate resources to create original content and production material related to photography and videography, ensuring the creative vision is realized
  • Provide project briefs (shot lists, storyboards & styling notes) to ensure deliverables are met by freelance partners
  • Build a roster of seasoned & emerging photographers/directors/stylists nationwide
  • Manage editorial budget, product seeding & negotiate contracts/compensation
  • Work closely with Social Media Manager to produce channel specific content
  • Prepare final assets and coordinate handoff with Marketing & Ecomm.
  • Works cross functionally to obtain product for shoots.

This Might Describe You

  • 3-5 years of experience in an editor or content production role at brand or publication.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop story ideas for a target audience & bring them through to completion. 
  • Has a strong passion for design as it relates to architecture, home furnishings & interiors.
  • A drive to discover new subjects and spaces that align with Floyd’s appreciation for timeless, long lasting design.
  • Comes with a developed network of seasoned & emerging photographers, videographers, directors & stylists across the US. 
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team
  • A proven track record of success executing brand marketing campaigns across multiple channels to build brand awareness and increase sales. 
  • Experience working in Brand Marketing or Creative at an eCommerce company is a plus.
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
