The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.
This role is crafted to support the service parts operations team within GSS. Strong project management leadership skills including budget, schedule, resources and risk assessments. It is critical to form and lead cross functional teams targeted towards an end goal with varying priorities. There will be enhancements related to service inventory optimization tools that we'll need a PM to drive. In addition to project management, role to include governance of inputs into the inventory optimization engine. Familiarity with spare parts inventory, optimization, demand/supply planning, S&OP governance, customer SLA's, SAP, IT project management are all a plus. Other smaller, less technical, projects will also be included to support overall business. These include but are not limited to process documentation, data consistency across functions, move from manual to system based processes, sourcing logic and others.
- Gather, document, and maintain business requirements for service part supply chain projects, large and small.
- Understand & document project's objectives & goals
