Culture & Jobs at Nickels

Helping cardholders take control of their credit card debt.

Working at Nickels

Hiring in:

Nickels is a fintech startup that leverages behavioral science to help financial institutions support their consumers’ credit card health and unlock new revenue opportunities in the process. Our flagship product, Credit Card Coach, is a white-label digital solution that gives consumers a place to manage all of their credit cards and receive personalized guidance to improve their financial health.

Each year, American consumers carry over $850 billion in credit card debt, which generates over $100 billion in interest and fees for the 50% of credit card users who carry a balance from month to month. Between minimum payments, compound interest, and a lack of transparency around fees and charges, credit card providers make it easy for consumers to get into debt, but difficult for them to get out of. We're on a mission to change the game.

By partnering with financial institutions across the country, we aim to help consumers save money, improve their credit card health, and get out of debt sooner. And with increased visibility into consumers’ purchase, payment, and debt activity, Credit Card Coach places the institutions first in line to refinance their consumers’ credit card debt into personal loan products and tap into the $850B+ third-party credit card debt market.

It's a win-win.

We're a small but passionate team with a mission to disrupt the credit card market and improve financial wellness for all, and we’re excited to grow our impact as we expand our team. We're looking for like-minded, driven people who want to improve the way credit cards are used and help millions of Americans overcome credit card debt.
